What an honor it is for SSU's Dance Program students and faculty to participate in and perform with Liz Lerman and her creative team in Wicked Bodies. The opportunity to work with Liz in partnership with the Green Music Center and to perform in Weill Hall is such a gift for our program and an important learning experience for the students. The Dance Program has an ongoing relationship with Liz Lerman over many years and are practitioners of her Critical Response Process (CRP), a method for offering and receiving critical feedback on creative work in any genre. It is amazing to engage in the CRP process with Liz and for our students to experience her wisdom, facilitation and artistry firsthand. We are also very grateful for the opportunity to work with Liz Lerman's creative team of performers and artists that are world renowned. We look forward to the performance and the embodied knowledge we will carry forward from this incredible experience! Special thanks to Jacob Yarrow and Becky Cale for helping to make this powerful collaboration come to fruition.
