Ives 80 is a classroom and Dance Studio located in the bottom floor of Ives Hall. Built in the early 1960’s, it is one of the original buildings on the SSU campus. This space is 25’-6” wide and 55’-0” long, and contains white painted walls and ceiling. The North wall is mirrored and the floor is tongue and groove hardwood maple. This room is used for movement and dance rehearsals, as well as Yoga classes. No street shoes are allowed in this room.
The room contains a portable CD player, with auxiliary input, and an upright spinet piano. The primary lighting is from fluorescent light, but 2 floor lamps are available for alternate lighting. Padded workout mats are available.
