Director of the Acting Program, Marie Ramirez Downing and students Daija Temple, Armando Ramos, Jasmine Richardson, and Azucena Ferrusca presented their Koret Scholarship Project, "Eurocentric Voice Methods and People of The Global Majority: An Examination of Imagery, Identity, and Community in Actor Training" at the SSU Research and Creativity Symposium last Wednesday, April 27th.

They presented their research poster and demonstrated voice work from the methods at the symposium among the other undergraduate students from the Schools of Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Education, and Business and Economics.

I am very proud of our students and their commitment to this project! We were the only team of students that presented and demonstrated our project live at the symposium.
