Aissa Simbulan
Assistant Stage Manager

Aissa Simbulan is the assistant stage manager for Eurydice. They just transferred to Sonoma State from Diablo Valley College, and is a Technical Theatre major and a Film Studies minor. Their goal is to have a career in sets and props for movies. Aissa has helped build and paint sets at Benicia High School for She Kills Monsters, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia, and Almost, Maine; then Seussical: the Musical, Kentucky, and Head Over Heels at Diablo Valley College.
Alice Tikoibau
Little Stone

Alice Tikoibau plays Stones/Small Stone in Eurydice. She transferred from Santa Rosa Junior College and is currently a Junior who’s majoring in Sociology. Alice has no prior acting experience making Eurydice her first acting experience. As someone who loves being in creative spaces she looks forward to being in this production.
Allison Dominguez
Eurydice

Allison Dominguez is a senior at SSU, and is so thrilled to finish the year with Eurydice! Past productions with the department include Powerlines, Candide, and Nine. She would like to thank her beautiful cast mates, crew, and all the negative COVID tests taken during this process. Love to Amama, Mom, Dad, Elisabeth, and Silas.
Amber Kaljumagi
Big Stone

This is my third year of attending Sonoma State University while I work on my bachelor of science. Though I focus my studies on biology, I have always carried a great love for the performing arts. I have seen many plays in my life, but Eurydice is the first play that I have been able to perform in. It has been a wonderful experience to see what goes on behind the scenes!
Annaliese Van Sickle
Stones Understudy

Annaliese Van Sickle is the understudy for the Stones in Eurydice. She is a double major in Theatre Arts and Dance (Acting) and Early Childhood Studies (Education). Her most recent work includes Nisha in A Moonless Sea as a part of the Power Lines New Play Festival, and 2 in Nine. Annaliese is grateful to have been able to work with such an amazing cast and crew and is thankful for all of the support she has received throughout this wonderful process.
Armando Ramos
Orpheus

Ismael Armando Ramos is a 3rd year transfer student from Whittier College and this is first production here at Sonoma State University. Ismael has been in productions such as “Frankenstein” and “The Crucible” as well as working with Shakespeare Center LA. He is also a musician/ singer/songwriter and recently released his album “Hazel St” on all streaming platforms under his stage name Mxngo. He is very excited to be a part of the show and to be able to work with such a talented and supportive cast and crew.
Bucky Brynjegard-Bialik
Nasty Interesting Man

Bucky Brynjegard-Bialik is a freshman theatre major with an acting concentration. He was most recently in SSU’s production of Pirates of Penzance, and his other credits include Anything Goes and Neil Simon’s Fools. When he’s not onstage, Bucky spends his time writing fiction and cosplaying. (Check out his cosplay looks on his TikTok @jewishfairyqueen!) He hopes you enjoy the show!
Doyle Ott
Director

Doyle Ott has served as a lecturer in the theatre program at Sonoma State for over ten years. A theatre and circus artist with over 20 years experience performing, directing and teaching, his credits include work with Make A Circus, Splash Circus Theatre, Prescott Circus, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Circus Center, Bay Area Children's Theatre, Foolsfury, Antenna Theatre, Golden Thread, and the San Francisco Playwright's Foundation. He has published scholarship on circus, theatre, and education, including a translation of Gozzi's King Stag and book chapters about circus adaptations of Alice in Wonderland and use of circus in staging Shakespeare. Doyle served as Artistic Director at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland where he helped build two performance spaces, wrote and directed over 40 musical plays for children, and developed the park’s Theatre for the Very Young program. He is a company member with Playground and with Medical Clown Project and is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner. He studied and trained at UC Irvine, San Francisco State, Dell'Arte International and San Francisco Circus Center, and holds a PhD in Theatre from Arizona State University.
Fiona Sharkey
Sound Design

Fiona Sharkey is a second bachelor's student at Sonoma State majoring in technical theatre. She is thrilled to be working on her first show at SSU as the sound designer for Eurydice. She has a Bachelors of Science in Women and Gender Studies, and after school she hopes to use both degrees to create equity and equality in the theatre community.
Luis Escobar
Orpheus Understudy

Luis Escobar is the understudy for Orpheus in the Eurydice. He is a freshman and a psych major at Sonoma State. His past experiences in theatres include being a dancer in one of the dream scenes of Scrooge in his church of the winter plays when he was younger. He has also been the rabbi of Fiddler On The Roof as well when he was younger. He also took a drama class for freshmen year, but it had been so long since he had done a live performance. His most recent work was playing Danny in Envoi, Baqi in A Moonless Sea, and part of the Movement chorus in A Moonless Sea. Luis is so happy to be able to have part of such a friendly environment and a lovely cast. Luis is fortunate to have had such an opportunity to work on the Power Lines Festival.
Maya Pratt-Bauman
Loud Stone

Maya Pratt-Bauman is a third year theatre arts and dance student with a concentration in acting. Eurydice will be her first “on stage” acting performance at Sonoma State though she has been in many online SSU productions. Some of her recent work includes various roles in Super Mega Molten Hot Lava New Play Festival and 365 Days/365 Plays [One Act], as well as Queela in Interviews with Lonliness and To be a Ballerina in Sonnets for an old century. She has had so much fun acting in person again and can’t wait to share this show with others.
Noah Hewitt
Stage Manager

Noah Hewitt is a sophomore technical theatre major, and is very excited to be the stage manager for SSU’s production of Eurydice. This is his second production he has worked on for Sonoma State, the first being Pirates of Penzance earlier this spring. He loves the theatre process and getting to be a part of it, including building sets and designing/running lights, and getting to watch the process from the very beginning has been a wonderful experience for him. Noah is incredibly proud of this cast and crew, and would like to thank Theo for his guidance and expertise, Doyle for his vision for this show, and Aissa for their incredible support and friendship.
Robert Wiles
Father

Robert Wiles is a second year Psychology Major at Sonoma State University. He has been acting since he was 9 years old in various plays and film/ commercial settings. Eurydice will be Robert’s fifth show at SSU, with some of his other performances including 365 Days/365 Plays and Spring Awakening. This experience has been one of Robert’s all-time favorite experiences at SSU, and he’s very excited to showcase what he’s learned and how he’s grown as an actor.
