Dance Auditions - Fall 2024

Directed by Kristen Daley, the performance is a student choreographed, performed, designed, created show. Students work together to build community in shared leadership and decision making honoring each unique artistic voice.

Audition Information

Date: August 25, 2024 @11:00am
Location: PE1

Audition Format

The audition will be in a class format. It will be fun and physical. Please bring water, wear comfortable, dance-able clothes. We will dance in bare feet and sneakers.

You MUST fill out a Fall Dance Concert Audition Form before your audition.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you are still required to fill out the above form.

Commitments

PARTICIPATING in Fall Dance is part of the course- DANC 301: Dance Ensemble. 100% attendance is required and adherence to the syllabus, ie. learning outcomes, assignments, class meetings designed for your learning is expected. If cast, you must enroll in this course by the add/drop deadline: W, Sept. 4 @ 4pm. We ask that you add immediately following audition outcomes, the week of Aug 26.

3 units recommended. 2 units or 1 unit is also available but not recommended as the amount of time/energy that goes into making Fall Dance successful is really a 3 unit workload.

Please note: If you have a time conflict or are over units, we are happy to complete appropriate forms for you to be able to participate.

Rehearsal Call Times

Each rehearsal will be approximately 2-3 hours per week.

Technical Rehearsals
Dates: November 16 AND/OR November 17
Time: 10:00am-10:00pm
Info: You will not be needed for all of this time, we will tech all choreographers dances these two days, 2-2.5 hours per dance call times).

Dress Rehearsals
Dates: November 18, 19, 20
Time: 6:00-11:00pm

Performances
Dates: November 21, 22, 23
Time: 7:30pm, call time is 6pm

Date: November 24
Time: 2:00pm, call time is 12:30pm
